The Art of Handwritten Letters + A FREE Printable!

131108_Notecard I distinctly remember writing thank you notes after each Christmas, birthday, and holiday gathering where gifts were received and memories shared. My mom always stressed the value of a handwritten note and no matter how much I complained (and I complained A LOT), I always found myself sitting at our dining room table hand writing letters to family and friends.

I've come to appreciate the art of hand written letters. All the years of my mom impressing on me the importance of letter writing has finally stuck (thank you mom for your persistence!). There is truly nothing more enjoyable when opening your mailbox then finding a handwritten note addressed specifically to you.

One of my goals this month is to get back to writing handwritten notes. We write them all the time for our ministry, but I'd like to make it a practice in my non-work life. I'd like to focus on the individuals in my life and let them know how much I truly appreciate them as a person and their friendship.

If you'd like to join me in writing this month, I've included a FREE printable of the folded note card above. Just click download, print at home, and use as you like! I recommend printing on standard 8.5 x 11 paper, 65Ib to 80Ib weight (which you can find at almost any office store).
