One of the things I love about our new area is the outdoor space. It played a significant role in why we chose the apartment we did, even if it meant sacrificing our interior space. This is the school park just a block from our home. And just a few blocks to the east, a mere five-minute walk, you'll run right into Lake Michigan. With the weather warming we're finally getting out and exploring all these spaces. And on a nothing but ordinary Tuesday evening I'm ever grateful to walk down the street and shoot hoops with my husband. To watch him come alive as he plays a sport he loves. And to laugh at my less then superb basketball skills. I feel blessed for these days. It has been a season of transitions that have been bumpy and with rhythms that are slow to come, but there's so much to be grateful. There's so much at work in my heart and in Guy's. The Lord has been faithful through it all. His Word is true and in it we walk with trust.
The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him. - Psalm 28:7
